Plant Control System
Overview
DIASYS Netmation, a control system from Mitsubishi Power, is a system that can be configured flexibly to suit users' needs, ranging from small-scale plants to large-scale plants such as thermal power plants. Mitsubishi Power contributes to our customers' success by offering a highly reliable system that only a leading plant manufacture can provide. Mitsubishi Power also provides a wide variety of optional products to support plant operation.
Features
- High reliability due to system redundancy
DIASYS maintains high system reliability by having redundancy for its CPU modules, network modules, and power units.
Even if a CPU should malfunction, the system can switch to a backup system without disrupting the control of the plant.
- Maintaining availability with online maintenance
You can change control logic and various parameter values without stopping currently running Multiple Process Stations (MPSs) and Compact Process Stations (CPSs). Control functions other than the modified part are not affected, and the availability of the users' facilities can be maintained.
- Stress-free operation
An operator station (OPS) does not keep data locally. It accesses the data stored in the MPS. Consequently, an OPS can process data quicker, and a user can maneuver through screens of system diagrams and logic without stress.
- Low-load communication to enable remote monitoring with existing facilities
DIASYS Netmation uses Mitsubishi Power card communication, a proprietary low-load communication protocol from Mitsubishi Power, so that the communication load between OPS and MPS is lower than 32 kbps.
Thanks to the Mitsubishi Power card communication, remote monitoring systems can use existing infrastructure, such as microwave communication or PHS systems. Thus, the installation cost of communication infrastructure can be reduced.
