An operator station (OPS) has functions for operation and monitoring of a plant.
An OPS has the following functions:
Graphic display is a function to display the operation status of a facility. The whole facility or a partial system diagram can be displayed, and process states and process values can be displayed in real time. Those data can be displayed on multiple monitors at the same time to allow efficient operation. Furthermore, from an equipment object on a system screen, you can jump to the related control loop plate screen or logic screen to support operation.
A control loop plate offers functions to monitor and control equipment shown on the screen. You can change a set value, control a valve lift, and open/close a valve on a control loop plate. In order to avoid mistakes during entry, the operations are not actually sent until you hit the execute button.
DIASYS Netmation generates an alarm to quickly notify an operator that a problem occurred in the plant or the control and monitoring system. You can select from 15 priority levels for an alarm. Up to 160,000 entries of generated event data are stored and can be accessed. Of course, you can access the related logic immediately from a generated alarm to help you find the root cause of the problem.
This function displays changes in processes as a graph. Process data can be registered easily on the trend display screen by using drag and drop. In order to allow various analyses, three types of trend display screens are offered: trend graph, X-Y trend, and quick trend. A trend graph is used to monitor process data in chronological order. An X-Y trend displays a correlation between two sets of process data. A quick trend displays monitored process data in a simple format.
On an OPS screen, you can monitor the status of and adjust the parameters for logic calculations running on Multiple Process Stations (MPSs) and Compact Process Stations (CPSs).
The hardware specifications for an OPS are as follows: When you purchase a PC, we recommend.
