Monitoring System For Power receiving and transforming facilities


This system monitors and operates the facilities of a company's headquarters building. It monitors and controls air conditioning, lighting, and elevators, and supports overall building management.
It also controls disaster management facilities to support safe building management if a disaster occurs.

Background of introducing the new system/Problems to be solved

This is a building management system jointly developed with our business partner and is the first case where the system was used for a large building. This system was chosen based on the functionality as an integrated building management system that covers not only the electric power facilities but also air conditioning and elevators.

Result/Effect of introducing the new system

This system supports complex power failure and recovery control if a disaster occurs. It also saves energy by automatically controlling lighting systems. Also, the system can be modified flexibly to ensure easy maintenance during operation.

Monitoring and Operation

  • Collaborating with BACnet
    This system can work together with a third party HIM using BACnet communication, and the HIM(Note) can monitor and operate in a centralized fashion.


  • This is an abbreviation for Building Automation and Control Network. It is a communication protocol standardized for building automation (BA) and control networks.
(Note) HIM is an abbreviation for Human Interface Machine. It is also called Human Machine Interface (HMI).
  • Power failure/recovery control
    When a power failure occurs, the circuit breaker is turned off and equipment is shut down based on priority. When the power is recovered, the circuit breaker is turned on and equipment is restarted.
  • Group start/stop control
    DIASYS Netmation enables you to perform start/stop control over equipment based on predefined groups.
  • Alarm display
    When an equipment failure occurs, real-time alarm displays help early detection of the failure. In addition, the alarm occurrence/recovery history for each piece of equipment can be displayed.

  • Trend display
    The production status of a product, the operation status of equipment, and failure signals are managed by using trend information.
    Two types of trends can be displayed: a real time trend for a maximum of 24 hours and a historical trend for a maximum of 30 days.

  • Reports
    The data collected from equipment is managed as daily, monthly, and yearly reports.
    Printing can be done at a predefined time or when a user requests. Calculating the instantaneous value; average, maximum, and minimum values in the interval; integrated value difference; and accumulated on/off time is also possible.
